The Best Outdoor Dining Table

If you are looking for an all-weather outdoor dining table that can withstand all the elements; this dining table set is your perfect choice.

As much as I love the look of our wood outdoor dining table set; it requires regular care and maintenance. From storing in the winter and covering when not in use when in the sun and rain; I grew tiered of caring for it. I was constantly worrying about our wooden patio table instead of enjoying it.

What is Polywood Furniture Made of?

I thought Polywood furniture was composite, but it is not. Composite material is composed of plastic and wood fibers giving it a wood like appearance.

Polywood is made from high-density polyethylene which is 100% recycled plastic made from materials like milk jugs and detergent bottles. These plastics are cleaned, purified and turned into durable lumber-like boards.

This patio table has a wood like appearance but with a plastic-like performance.

I find outdoor dining tables relatively expensive no matter what the material is or the brand you purchase. Polywood is more costly than other outdoor furniture, but it is likely the last piece of outdoor furniture you will need to buy.

Our Lakeside 7-Piece Farmhouse Dining Set with Trestle Legs is around $2200; which is not what I consider inexpensive. The faux teak wood outdoor dining table (gifted) we had was around $1400 and I sold it after 18months because of the quality, constant upkeep and storage.
