Green, Blue and Lovely Christmas Bedroom
Hey friends! Today I am taking you on a tour of our green, blue and lovely Christmas bedroom all decked out for the season.
This is the first year I’ve decorated our bedroom for Christmas except for pillows or a little greenery, but this year I added more decor to create a cozy space in our room.

Keep Christmas Bedroom Decor Simple
It doesn’t take a ton of decor to make a space feel festive. I only added a wreath, tree, a green velvet throw pillow and some fresh clipping from the yard. If you keep it simple the space will feel cozy without feeling stuffy and when the time comes to put everything back in storage you won’t be overwhelmed.
This year we added a tree to our room; never done that before and wish I would have put one in our room earlier. It adds just a lovely touch of festivity.
Less is More
Adding the fresh pine clippings brought lift to the dresser and it feels wintry enough for the space. I know this paired down decor isn’t for everyone, but I am really enjoying having less! The clippings make the room feel wintry but not overly decorated. The vintage landscape cloud print layered with the mirror and the pine branches keeps things minimal.
Christmas Bedroom Bedding
A few months ago we upgraded our mattress from a queen to a king and I LOVE a king size bed. Why did we not do this sooner? We ordered this King size mattress and so far so good, but think I need a few more months to give a really good review.
Simple white bedding with touches of color from pillows or throws is easy to transition from season to season. Our soft white duvet cover has a nice luxurious feel but isn’t overpriced. In the winter I like a heavier duvet insert not only for warmth but for weight; there is something about a “heavier” insert that makes me sleep so much better.
These green velvet pillow is elegant and brings in gorgeous pop of color to the space and can be used full into the winter seasons. Be sure to use an insert a size bigger to really get the full look.
I love having a tree in our room – if you don’t have one in the bedroom you should consider it! This lovely 7′ King Noble Fir Artificial Christmas Tree has a minimal, less full look and feel and prefect for our room. We did not have ornaments or lights for this tree and by the time I began decorating it I did not want to spend anything on decor. So…I took my outdoor cafe lights from under the deck, gave them a little cleaning and put them on the tree. Added a few silk bows and some wood bead garland and called it a day.
I hope you enjoyed this little tour, and feel inspired to bring some simple Christmas magic into your own room- even if it’s just some fairy lights to bring you a smile.
